Piccadilly and Claire

This past Sunday morning Dave and I headed off to the very first Piccadilly Market in Geelong. it was such a great market and such a new concept for Geelong markets. There are plenty of markets around our area either weekly or monthly, but most of them have lots of second hand stalls where people are just getting rid of their old stuff. (Not that I'm against that...I have been known to have market stalls after having cleaned out my cupboards, just to make a little extra cash!) Anyway, all the stalls at the Piccadilly Market were choc full of beautiful hand crafted goodies - home wares, children's clothing, bags and jewellery. At one of the jewellery stalls were the amazing designs of the very talented Claire Faulmann, who also happens to be a good friend of mine. She makes the most amazing things, my personal favourites are the hexagon designs.
These little studs are some of my favourites...I love the colours she has used!
Some of her necklaces and rings, using the hexagon shape...

These little faux grass ones she has called "fe fi faux"...too cute!

And finally a pic of the clever lady herself! If you want to see some more of her work, she has a website with a number of her designs featured. http://www.clairefaulmann.com/
